Hi! I'm Fiza, and I'm here to share life lessons that deeply impacted me. I studied physics, and I am a visiting lecturer as well as a freelance content writer. Previously, I have worked in graphic design and analysis. But, at this point in my life, I have found that writing is the only thing I can sacrifice my sleep for. Previously, it was reading. But, at some point, you have to pick the pen [keyboard in our case]. Beyond medium, I write for a current affairs magazine and an educational firm. On medium, I cover my learnings from life (the hard lessons) and books (the fierce yet softly whispering). I have stressed a lot about the perfect idea to write. But, with time, I realized what J. K. Rowling meant when she said, “It's not the wand [read idea] that chooses the wizard [read writer]; it's the other way round.” I am aspiring to live in pursuit of Khalil Gibran’s philosophy:

“Keep me away from the wisdom which does not cry, the philosophy which does not laugh, and the greatness which does not bow before children.”
